Business Development Executive
Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the continued growth of MOEbiz. This is accomplished by contacting scheduled prospects for qualified leads and appointments for the Sales Consultants. The BDE position is designed to make appointments for sales consultants as well as time in the field following up on customer service items.
Primary focus is to support outside sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve weekly new growth objectives that includes a minimum of 2 appointments a day for each sales consultant.
- Process orders, negotiate contracts with leasing vendors and CRM support.
Key in all activity in our CRM system as well as use it for appointments and quotes.
Must be willing to attend after-hour functions to network with business opportunities. Community involvement a plus in this role.
- Assist the management team in developing market strategies to increase market share.
- Interact fully with the sales, sales support, service and management employees to ensure accurate and complete communication and excellent service to all customers.
- Be available for regular performance reviews with direct supervisor to assist in personal development and the improvement of sales performance.
- Attend and contribute feedback at all sales meetings.
- Attend and participate fully in all training opportunities.
- Special projects as assigned by Vice President of Sales.
Expectations of the Job
- Complete cold and warm call marketing objectives as outlined by the VP Sales including, but not limited to, new customer follow-up calls, offer other product lines to existing customers, and marketing specific items.
- Complete prescribed sales plans and submit to direct supervisor promptly.
- Complete prescribed sales reports and submit to direct supervisor promptly.
- Input new customer records into Compass (MOEbiz’s Customer Relationship Management software) and routinely update existing records with information, including but not limited to recent telephone call activity.
- Follow telemarketing procedures as outlined in MOEbiz’s Telemarketing Training Schedule.
- Immediately become familiar with latest service promotions to facilitate speaking intelligently about current products and service offerings to customers.
- Follow-up on all business leads from sources within the company.
- Report immediately all customer complaints to direct supervisor.
- Attend monthly company meeting beginning at 7:30 am.
Minimum Requirements
- Marketing / business degree or 1 – 2 years telemarketing experience
- Excellent telephone selling track record or sales abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with upbeat, friendly phone personality
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy
